From Home Office or Studio Sheds with finish it yourself or even fully finished interiors, to pole buildings, we have the expertise and enthusiasm to build many different types of backyard structures. Finish It Yourself (FIY) Shed Package

Our Finish It Yourself Package and Fully Finished Package transform a regular shed into a space that can be used for a home office, studio, guest room and endless other creative purposes.

Features

Our FIY package includes additional features that our storage sheds don’t have, that allow them to be finished without risk to the future integrity of the building, ensuring that your investment will stand the test of time. The FIY package starts with some features of our standard shed and builds from there with added framing and exterior features, allowing for a dry and comfortable space for creativity or productivity.

2×6 Pressure Treated Floor Framing
AdvanTech Subfloor Sheathing
Vertical Groove LP Siding Panels (Installed over top of Zip Sheathing) – upgraded siding options available such as horizontal lap, board and batten, etc.
LP Trim
2×4 Wall Framing
Asphalt Architectural Shingles Included or Upgrade to a Metal Roof

Our standard 2×6 pressure treated floor framing with R15 Comfortbatt Rockwool Mineral Wool insulation
Rigid engineered sheathing – sealed

Zip System Sheathing (Vapor Barrier)

Roof & Wall Sheathing
Zip Panels with taped seams creates a continuous air barrier
Integrated WRB (Weather Resistant Barrier) Delivers moisture and air protection in one system.

Prehung Exterior Door

Your choice of solid, quarter lite, half lite or full lite door.
$400 allowance included in price (If allowance is exceeded the difference will be added to the total)
Installed with weather sealing and flashing

24x36 Windows

24×36 single hung, half screen, dual pane
Installed with weather sealing and flashing
2 included (additional windows $250 each)
Other options (larger windows etc.) available upon request

Vented Roof Deck

Vented soffits with insulation baffles (chutes designed to allow air to flow from the exterior soffit vents along the interior of the roof deck and out through the ridge vent)
Continuous Ridge Vent
Allows for a finished vaulted ceiling
This is necessary for an insulated, climate controlled building in order to prevent condensation

2x8 Rafters

Allows for increased depth for ceiling insulation up to R23 still leaving the necessary air gap for ventilation under the roof deck

Increased Wall Height

8 foot tall side walls to allow for door installation

16” OC wall framing

Accommodates readily available insulation batts

Fully Finished Package

We also offer a fully finished shed package which would include everything in the FIY package, plus the following interior finishes:

R15 Rockwool insulation on walls. R23 Rockwool insulation on ceilings.

Full Interior Wall & Ceiling Finishes

¾ paint grade Tongue and Groove Interior Siding
Painting included. (Stain grade wood and staining is an additional cost.)
Interior Trim – door & window casing, baseboard etc.

Finished Floor

Pre-stained engineered hardwood floor or LVP
$4/sq ft allowance included in price (If allowance is exceeded the difference will be added to the total)

They’re everything anyone would want in a contractor, detailed, prompt, responsive, fair, flexible and neat!  They communicated very well and our project went very smoothly.
